Fred Bussiere

Chief Homeminder

Arriving to Sarasota-Bradenton as a casual visitor a dozen years ago Fred Bussiere knew this is where he wanted to be.  He soon became a part-time resident and finally a full-time resident several years ago.
Fred has decades of experience in both the home building and real estate industries.  During the 1980's and 90's, he held a State of Massachusetts Construction Supervisor’s License and built more than 100 homes.   He also held a State of Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor’s License for 100's of remodeling projects.

In the late 1990’s, he became a certified building inspector specializing in inspections of pre-sale real estate properties.   Throughout his career, he has bought and sold a variety of rental properties and homes in multiple states.  Fred's experience in what it takes to manage these properties is second to none. He has developed a strong understanding of residential maintenance and more importantly, the needs of an absent owner.

For the last several years, Fred has directed the maintenance for his homeowners' association, a private gated master-planned community, and has seen firsthand the need for knowledgeable, dependable and most importantly, a trustworthy home minding service.

Constantly approached by HOA members frustrated with lack of companies they can trust, Fred recognized the need for a high-quality home minding company that understood what high-end and luxury property owners need.  Welcome, Homeminder Services!

Gordon Lear

Managing Partner

Gordon Lear, a resident of Sarasota since 1996, spent nearly 20 years in the technology space leading software and marketing companies.  As an Executive Officer and coming from a family legacy of construction companies, Gordon partnered with Fred to make sure Homeminders is on the cutting edge of technology, customer services, strategic partnerships and anything else to empower Homeminder Engineers to succeed.   As a homeowner with a finite amount of time to keep his home maintained, and like Fred recognized the need for a high-quality home minding company that understood what high-end and luxury property owners need.

Gordon's professional background includes Business Development, Customer Service, Operations, and several technical areas.  He also owns and operates Gordon Lear LLC an executive technology consulting practice.

Gordon is an active participant in the Sarasota community.  He mentors at-risk teens through Take Stock in Children.  He sits on the Board of Directors for the Sarasota YMCA Evelyn Sadlier Jones Branch and served four years on his Homeowners' Association Board of Directors, and was Chairman of the Deed Restrictions Committee.

Gordon attended the University of New Hampshire from '91-'95 and together with his wife Kelley of twenty-years, has a son Finnegan attending Pine View School and swimming for the National and Florida State Champions Sarasota YMCA Sharks
